Frequently Asked Questions
About Us
-
Beneath the Bloom is a transformational ecosystem for high-achieving women of color, especially Black women who appear successful but are spiritually depleted and emotionally exhausted. We call her "The Forgotten Achiever."
BTB isn't a business, it's a soul-led movement built from rupture, revelation, and reclamation. Through our signature Bloomprint™ Method, we provide tools, community, and guidance for women ready to stop accepting workplace cultures that demand their depletion, family dynamics that treat them as endless resources, social circles where they give but never receive, and cultural expectations that prioritize their productivity over their humanity.
We don't offer quick fixes or surface-level self-care.
We offer deep transformation for women investigating the source of their exhaustion, not just managing it.
-
BTB was born from The Bloomkeeper's own transformation after walking away from a high-level corporate role that was slowly killing her spirit. Despite external success, she was experiencing depression, anxiety, and profound spiritual disconnection.
Through her healing journey, she realized that individual transformation IS cultural evolution. When women of color stop accepting exploitation disguised as opportunity, entire systems must evolve.
BTB exists because too many brilliant women are dying slowly in professional environments that extract their brilliance while withholding recognition, family structures that position them as endless resources, and cultural narratives that celebrate their sacrifice over their joy. We create infrastructure for women to establish healthy boundaries and build sustainable alternatives.
-
BTB serves "The Forgotten Achiever" often a woman of color who:
Was the first, the only, or the one who held it all together
Is loyal to systems that deplete her
Appears successful but is spiritually parched and emotionally exhausted
Needs an intentional pause but fears what will unravel if she stops
Is ready to investigate her exhaustion's source, not just manage it
BTB is NOT for women who:
Want quick fixes or surface-level solutions
Aren't ready to examine the workplace cultures, family dynamics, and social expectations they're embedded in
Prefer individual healing without cultural context
Are looking for traditional therapy or clinical treatment
-
Our transformational work is built on The Bloomprint™ Method; a four-phase journey of authentic becoming:
REST: Intentional pause and nervous system repair
RECLAIM: Recovering your voice, authenticity, and inherent power
RISE: Authentic visibility and genuine expression
RADIATE: Living in your full truth and luminous presence
This isn't a linear program, it's a spiral deepening. Women enter through various offerings (journal, Sister Circles, 1:1 sessions) and the work meets them exactly where they are in their transformation.
-
If you're new to this work:
Start with "This Time, I Choose Me"---our 90-day guided journal that introduces The Bloomprint™ Method through daily reflection and ritual.
If you crave community:

We don't do spiritual bypassing. We address systemic issues alongside personal healing, recognizing that your exhaustion often has intelligent, structural causes.
We center women of color's experiences. Particularly Black women who've been performing strength while spiritually starving.
We're not about fixing you. You're not broken. You're embedded in workplace cultures that demand your depletion, family dynamics that treat you as an endless resource, and social expectations that prioritize your productivity over your humanity. We help you establish healthy boundaries within these contexts and build sustainable alternatives.
We integrate ancestral wisdom with modern transformation work, honoring the lineage of strength you come from while freeing you from inherited patterns of martyrdom.
We focus on cultural evolution, not just personal development. Your healing impacts every woman watching you choose yourself.
Sister Circles
-
Each 90-minute Sister Circle session follows a thoughtful structure designed to build community while processing transformation work:
Opening (15-20 minutes): We begin with a grounding exercise to calibrate the circle's energy, followed by check-ins with your Sister Keeper trio and sharing from integration activities.
Core Work (60-65 minutes): Guided group discussions and intimate breakout sessions focused on that session's theme from The Bloomprint™ Method. You'll process your individual journal work collectively, gaining new perspectives from other women's experiences.
Integration (5-10 minutes): Each session closes with choosing a practical activity to implement between sessions - simple, concrete actions that deepen your transformation work.
Sister Circles are community processing spaces where your individual healing becomes collective wisdom.
-
Sister Circle participation requires a two-step process to ensure proper fit for this intimate transformation work:
Application: Complete our online form sharing your transformation goals, current challenges, and readiness for group vulnerability.
Screening Call: 20-minute conversation with The Bloomkeeper to discuss your application, answer questions, and ensure Sister Circles align with your current needs and capacity.
We're looking for women who are:
Ready for honest self-examination
Committed to showing up consistently for 3 months
Willing to be vulnerable in community
Prepared to support other women's journeys
Aligned with BTB's approach to transformation
We're looking for women who are ready for honest self-examination and energetic alignment for intimate group work.

-
Attendance Commitment: Sister Circles require consistent participation for group intimacy and trust-building. We expect you to prioritize these 6 sessions over the 3-month period.
If you must miss a session:
Notify The Bloomkeeper and your Sister Keeper trio as soon as possible
Connect with your trio to catch up on key insights and session themes
Review session materials in your workbook to stay current with the group
No makeup sessions are provided due to the intimate, community-based nature of the work. However, your Sister Keeper trio and continued workbook engagement help maintain your connection to the journey.
Before applying, please review the full schedule and confirm your ability to attend all 6 sessions.
-
Confidentiality is fundamental to Sister Circle safety and is established through multiple layers:
Circle Agreement: All participants commit to strict confidentiality - what's shared in circle stays in circle. This includes stories, struggles, breakthroughs, and personal details.
Sister Keeper Guidelines: Your trio support system operates under the same confidentiality standards, creating safe spaces for processing between sessions.
Facilitator Standards: The Bloomkeeper maintains professional confidentiality standards and models appropriate boundaries around sharing.
Community Culture: We cultivate a culture of reverence for each woman's journey. Participants understand they're witnessing profound transformation work that deserves protection.
Recording Policy: Sessions are never recorded. Your vulnerability exists only in the moment it's shared.
Confidentiality isn't just a rule - it's a protective container that allows authentic transformation to emerge.
-
Sister Keeper Trio System: With support from 2 other women, you're less likely to feel isolated even if you don't connect with every circle member.
Facilitator Support: The Bloomkeeper monitors group dynamics and addresses any issues that arise. You can speak privately about concerns affecting your experience.
Community Guidelines: All participants commit to creating supportive, non-judgmental spaces. We immediately address behaviors that compromise circle safety.
Financial Considerations: Sister Circles are non-refundable after Session 1 due to the intimate nature of the work and small group size. However, we're committed to working through challenges when possible.
Pre-Circle Support: The screening process helps ensure energetic alignment, and early sessions focus heavily on building group connection and safety.
While we can't guarantee perfect chemistry with every participant, we create strong frameworks for navigating differences and building authentic community.

Women of color ready to investigate the source of their exhaustion in workplace cultures, family dynamics, and social expectations that don't serve them. This requires commitment to honest self-examination—not a quick fix.
Why Choose BTB?
-
Beneath the Bloom’s offerings are intentionally priced to reflect the depth, care, and one-of-a-kind transformational value they deliver.
Unlike conventional wellness approaches, BTB offers deep, culturally-informed transformation designed for high-achieving women ready to stop accepting exploitation from workplace cultures that demand twice the work for half the recognition, family dynamics that expect infinite emotional labor without reciprocity, social circles where you're always giving but never receiving, and cultural expectations that glorify your suffering while ignoring your joy.
-
The Bloomkeeper brings decades of lived experience as a Black woman, former teenage mother, Army veteran, divorcee, certified executive coach, and former high-level corporate HR executive to this work. You're investing in someone who has navigated multiple systems of marginalization and emerged with wisdom about sustainable transformation across all areas of life. The Bloomkeeper courageously walked away from a high-level career to reclaim her voice and build something better - she is living proof that transformation is possible.
-
Our work addresses the distinctive ways women of color - especially Black women - experience exploitation across multiple areas: professional environments that extract your brilliance while withholding recognition, family structures that position you as an endless resource, relationships where reciprocity remains absent, cultural narratives that celebrate your sacrifice over your joy, and gender norms that punish your authenticity while rewarding your performance.
-
BTB transcends typical self-care offerings through intensive, specialized work. BTB creates infrastructure for women whose souls are quietly aching for deep work - who have been performing strength while their spirits whisper for softness.
Our offerings serve as spiritual architecture for The Forgotten Achiever ready to investigate the source of her exhaustion in workplace cultures that demand her depletion, family dynamics that treat her as an endless resource, and social expectations that prioritize her productivity over her humanity.
-
Every BTB offering delivers exceptional value that significantly exceeds its price point:
"This Time, I Choose Me" journal: A 3-pound hardcover transformation journey with gold stamping, 52 color pages, premium components, altar transformation box, and complementary built-in Healing Practices Guide - delivering $290-399 in market value across all three tiers
Sister Circles: 6 transformational sessions, digital workbook, Sister Keeper trio support, ongoing community, and complete journal package
1:1 Sessions: Personalized guidance through The Bloomprint™ Method with generous journal vouchers that often fully cover entry-level transformation tools
-
Every journal prompt, every Sister Circle session structure, every integration activity, every spiritual tool has been birthed and personally curated by The Bloomkeeper.
This isn't mass-produced content or generic programming - it's transformation work designed from lived experience and refined through personal practice.
The Bloomkeeper’s intention is for each woman to feel seen, held, and supported through her transformation - as if a trusted girlfriend were sharing intimate truths and wisdom to guide her forward.
-
Our premium price point allows us to serve participants deeply rather than broadly, ensuring quality over quantity in all our offerings. This model enables The Bloomkeeper to maintain the personal touch and cultural specificity that makes BTB transformation work so powerful.
-
BTB participants consistently report fundamental shifts in how they show up in their relationships, careers, and daily lives because all components reflect The Bloomkeeper's direct involvement and intention.
You're not just purchasing a product - you're investing in infrastructure that helps you discover that wholeness was never lost, it was waiting beneath the bloom all along.
